Under the UK government’s ECO4 scheme, the installation of home insulation is free of charge for the end-user (you). The costs are covered by a grant from the government, which is paid to us for the service. We’ll never ask for any payment details from you as a result.

The exact criteria for the ECO4 scheme depend on numerous factors. The main ones are that you’re a low-income or vulnerable household, your home’s current insulation and heating setup, and its energy rating. This must be C (not all eligible), D, E, F, or G.

The exact job time ultimately depends on the size of your home. The application process can take a few weeks depending on how quickly we can come and survey your property. Installation of loft and cavity wall insulation usually takes a day or two, but can be more if you have a larger home.

The ECO4 grant money comes directly from the government’s scheme, although the actual support comes from an energy supplier. We get paid directly by the scheme, so you don’t have to worry about paying anyone anything.
